This is a handmade needle felting of a moon jellyfish that is finished in a 6" embroidery hoop. Great care has been taken to give the translucent quality to the jellyfish using only wool roving on felt.
This piece was inspired by the beautiful moon jellyfish on display at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
